Yesterday was Brennan's 1st Christmas. Our arms and hearts were full but there was a stocking hung with no eager fingers to open it and a candle lit at the breakfast table with no highchair in front of it. 
We got Brennan and Kellan matching teddy bears for their 1st Christmases then in the afternoon we went out to see him, give him his new teddybear and have the brothers meet for the first time.
It was a very bittersweet day yesterday. Loving one....missing another...
