Break!

Whew! This week is finally here! I get one whole week off of work! It's amazing how when I was on mat leave a week was nothin, but now with working so much these past couple months, a week off is a BIG DEAL!
On Thursday we are going to Banff with my family for a little holiday for 4 days! Obviously we're pretty excited about that!

Saturday was a fun day. Basically we spent the entire day in our basement watching the Olympics. Brian even moved the high chair down there so we didn't have to take Kellan upstairs to feed him. Hehe. We did however fit in a big house clean and a family walk - we weren't completely lazy!

This is Kellan's favorite spot these days. He usually just leaves it under the window so he can look outside at the cars. But lately he's been moving it to the bookshelf so he can throw all the books off on the higher shelf or he takes it over to our baby gate and tries to get over it to go down the stairs. We might have to confiscate it for a while :S

He's growing like a weed and learning new things everyday. When I got home from work yesterday he could say: uh-oh, wow, ball and opa. The day before he only had 3 words in his vocabulary: dada, mama and booboo (which is his puppy).

Well, I should go make something yummy for breakfast. We've been having toast a lot since I've been working so it's time to change it up.
