- don't include sleeping in but they often feel like it with no alarm clock to wake up to or no 'to do' list to get at
- if we're not scheduled for leading worship at our church it usually means lingering over a cup of coffee, an unhurried shower for me, playing dressup with a little girlie, enjoying a live acoustic guitar session from my hubby, trying to make a mop of hair look presentable on a little boy
- an excuse for me to wear my BIG earrings :)
- a morning of worship and a sermon to stir your heart and your mind
- most times the childrens church teacher for that week comes over and ask if Kellan wants to come even though he is too young. I like to think it's because he's so cute and so well behaved... ;)
- a thrown together lunch cuz we are usually too hungry to put in too much effort or wait for something to cook...or if we are feeling REALLY special we will order in chinese food (oh, and fyi: our little hick town has AMAZING chinese food)
- a beautiful nap for 2, 3 or 4 of us
- a messy kitchen
- a 2nd cup of coffee in the afternoon
- a walk if our laziness hasn't completely taken over - if it has then usually we find ourselves watching a movie or curled up on the couch reading stories to the previously mentioned mop head
- usually something unhealthy for supper - like nachos or wings or pizza...
- sometimes the messiness of our kitchen becomes too much and we do a hard & fast clean
- the laziness continues after supper as we soak in the last few hours of our God given day of rest....we take our rest very seriously
I like Sundays.
