Well harvest continues to be in full swing. I haven't taken one fall pic yet tho - what's up with that. So tonight my goal is to drive around with Brian in the combine or truck (which ever he is in) and take pictures. Sounds easy enough!
This last weekend was full of family & friends. Both my brothers and their families were down and a few extra friends so the farm was a buzzing one. Since there was enough male hands all us girls stayed inside and only had to worry about meals. So that left lots of time to go for walks, play with Rebekah, make donuts and chat. Mmmmm, I love the harvest donuts tradition!
Sometime after harvest (hopefully the beginning/middle of October) we are planning on flying out to the maritimes. We thought we should go on a little vay-kay before little Bren makes an appearance. Our plans are to fly out to Halifax, tour Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick then drive down to New York and fly home. (with a few stops in between). Has anyone been out to the east coast? Any suggestions?
I don't have any new pics. Not even any belly ones. It isn't growing very fast or very big (at the present time anyways) - but I'm definately not complaining!

sounds like a fabulous vacation plan! My parents went to the East coast several years ago and LOVED it - they may have some suggestions as to what places are must-see's.
Glad to see you figured out the ticker...sorry i didn't get back to you, but you basically did what I did - play around with it until you find you've put it in the right spot (unless you put it in the right spot right away, and put me to shame!). looks good!
I have some suggestions on the East coast since we were there this summer.
Firstly, go to Cape Breton while in Nova Scotia and take in the Cabot Trail. Make sure that you spend more than one day driving through as there is so much to see. Go whale watching if you have a chance. Take the Pictou ferry to PEI.
While in PEI, go deep sea fishing if you can (I caught the most and the biggest of anyone on the boat) and make sure to see the legendary Cavendish Beach while there too. If you like seafood, go to the Fisherman's Wharf and have the salad bar of you dreams with a great lobster dinner. Make sure to bring home some of those great PEI potatoes!!
Cross the Confederation Bridge and go clam digging under the bridge on the New Brunswick side during low tide. Be sure to stop and see all the life that is in the ocean and enjoy the nice weather they are having there.
Our trip wasn't for a vacation but, we took a few days to enjoy some of the things we don't have in land locked Alberta.
