Yesterday we dedicated Kellan to the Lord.
A little over a year ago we dedicated his older brother back to God too, the feelings and circumstances a bit different....but beautifully the same.Committing a child back to his Creator.
Our pastor called us up and started out saying: "it's been a journey"Simply said. Very true. Glad we've come as far as we have. Thankful for the road that we have/are travelling on.
We requested "Jesus Love Me' to be sung afterwards. We sang it at Brennan's dedication too. It was perfect.
We also did special music in the service too. Our version of "You consume me" (DCTalk). 
The one thing that was different between the dedication yesterday and the one last year....we got to bring the precious little one back home with us!

every blog entry today is making me sob like a baby. beautiful dedication. I wish i could hear your song. i will have to look it up online to hear the original...and then imagine it with guitar and djembe.-j
