Today at work after dealing with a patient I walked out of their room and squirted some hand sanitizer on my hands. I usually don't do this b/c it's full of chemicals and I prefer just good ol' soap & water. But since this patient was SICK and made me feel all germy when I left I thought the hand sani would make me feel cleaner.
But as I rubbed it on my hands it seeped through the cracks & rash on my very dry hands and proceeded to BURN!
So I ran and washed it off with my trusty soap & water.
Strengthening my aversion to hand sanitizers and deepened my love for pure water.
But now as I glance down at my red, rough & sore dry hands, I think I'm going stop cleaning my hands all together...
