Christmas is hard when someone is missing.  And even though I don't have any Christmas memories of Brennan he is brought to the forefront of my heart.  Maybe it's because I don't have any Christmas memories.  The fact that they were robbed from me might be that sting....
We celebrated him this Christmas season though.  Sent a shoebox in memory of him through Operation Christmas Child....
Had a 'family' night in honor of him with a special Christmas book and DVD for the kids and a gingerbread train we decorated as a family....
Our little family opened presents together on Thursday and he had a special ornament in his stocking....
Still miss him.
Thankful for friends who made sure his grave was taken care of when we are away...
Still miss him though...
